Planning transportation for an OnEll requires more than checking whether its frame folds. Consider the vehicle opening, interior space, bike dimensions, weight, and packing instructions. Compatibility must be checked for the actual combination you plan to use.

Start by identifying the configuration

The FD3.20 and FD8.20 fold. The F3.20, F8.20, and RX3.20 have fixed frames. When requesting measurements, provide the full model name and explain whether you are assessing the assembled bike, folded bike, or delivery packaging.

These three situations do not necessarily have the same dimensions. Shipping box measurements help plan that shipment; they do not automatically describe the space the bike occupies in everyday use.

Check the opening before the interior volume

Measure the opening through which the bike will enter and the usable space beyond it. Look for changes in height, seats, dividers, and turns along the route. A trunk with a large advertised volume may have an opening that needs a different assessment.

Also consider who will move the bike and how they will access the vehicle. If you do not yet have the model's confirmed weight, request it. Do not use the maximum load of 140 kg as a weight reference: it is a usage limit stated by the brand.

Confirm handling and packing instructions

Ask OnEll about the model's folding procedure and transportation precautions. Do not improvise disassembly, support points, or fastening based on a photograph. For external carriers, confirm compatibility and limits with the relevant manufacturers.

The purpose of this step is to gather specific instructions before transporting the bike. If you are unsure about a part or mechanism, send support a photo and wait for guidance instead of forcing it to fit.

Build your checklist

  1. Choose the models you want to compare.
  2. Record the vehicle opening and usable interior area.
  3. Request dimensions and weight in the desired transportation configuration.
  4. Confirm handling and packing instructions.
  5. Check the route between the garage and the storage area too.

The storage space measurement guide complements this checklist. To understand the versions in the range, see folding or fixed frames. Share your measurements with OnEll support to clarify anything the public specifications do not answer.
